Lampe rgb wifi + Eigenharp = fun

Posted by on Oct 18, 2010 in Interactive lamp | 2 Comments

We have been working for the past few months on an intelligent wifi rgb LED lamp.

The lamp uses RGB LED strips that are controlled by a wifi enabled Arduino called the YellowJacket.

This video demonstrates the use of the Eigenharp Pico as a controller for the lamp. The Eigenharp sends MIDI to a Max/MSP patch that communicates via wifi to the lamp.  MIDI is also sent to Ableton Live to have audio feedback.  The breath controls the luminous intensity and the keys control the colors.
